What is it?
Put simply, Profhilo is a totally unique cosmetic injectable solution for improving collagen and elastin production in the skin. Also known as Bio Remodelling Filler, Profhilo boasts one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market and offers an incredibly effective treatment for those wanting to boost and hydrate their skin whilst remodelling ageing and sagging tissue.
How does it work?
Filler, made with a patented NAHYCO® technology, is injected just beneath the skin. This is made from a unique injectable gel that has a prolonged stimulating activity on the skin and, when injected, stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity whilst also improving and restoring firmness.
What areas does it treat?
Profilho can treat a range of areas of concern including the face and neck. It can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees, and abdomen area. Profhilo is suitable for both men and women and offers skin benefits for patients of all ages - which is why we love it so much!

How quickly will I see results?
As with any treatment, results vary depending on the number of treatments you have, your goals and pre-existing skin conditions. Your injector will always manage your expectations around your results, but we suggest having 2 treatments, 4 weeks apart. To maintain results, we recommend a treatment every 3 months after the initial 2 treatment protocol. Results are evident after the second treatment.
Is there any downtime with Profhilo?
Lumps will be evident immediately post-treatment and can last up to 24hrs - 48hrs. When it comes to aftercare, we suggest:
- Apply ice/cool compress to reduce discomfort, swelling and bruising.
- No makeup is to be applied to the treated area for at least 24 hours
- No strenuous exercise for 24hrs
- Refrain from any other facial treatments for 2 weeks
