Your Ultraformer III results will occur in two phases:

1. In the first phase, you will notice an immediate tightening of your skin in the treated area. The heat from the ultrasound energy causes the network of collagen fibres in your skin to contract, providing a natural tightening effect that’s visible as soon as your treatment is complete.
   
2. In the second phase, more profound and lasting results will gradually become evident. Ultraformer III stimulates the production of new, stronger collagen with a more ‘youthful’ structure. This, in turn, strengthens your skin and reinforces its internal support system, helping to reverse the effects of ageing on your skin. Maximum benefits typically occur between six and nine months after treatment. 

The changes Ultraformer III produces in the epidermis and dermal collagen are permanent; nevertheless, factors such as time, sun exposure and gravity will continue to take a toll. A maintenance program of Ultraformer III treatments every six to 12 months will help preserve your improvements, and each subsequent treatment is likely to provide some additional benefits.

For the next 2-4 days following treatment:

• Do not use products containing AHA’s, BHA’s, Vitamin A (Retinol), astringents or exfoliating granules
• Cool compress or ice as needed
• Apply moisturiser as required (skin is best to remain moist during this time)
• Do not expose the skin to sun
• MUST apply a sunscreen daily
• Avoid vigorous exercise, saunas, chlorinated and salt water pools, steam baths and hot showers for 48 hours following your treatment
• Avoid Waxing, IPL, Laser, Depilatory creams for 2 weeks following your treatment

• Transient Bruising and or Red marks (welts)
• Transient numbness with or without temporary muscle weakness
• Possible herpes simplex outbreak if prone to cold sores in treatment area

The Collagen Facial is a less intense version of  the Ultraformer treatments designed to give a fresher, plumped & glowing look to the skin before an event. 3 treatments at 4 week intervals are recommended for the best result. Unlike the deeper Ultraformer treatment this has no downtime and you will see immediate results, however, these results are not as long lasting as a deeper Ultraformer treatment.

Face: 1-2 Ultraformer sessions spaced 6-12+ weeks apart

Body: 3-4 Ultraformer sessions spaced 4+ weeks apart

We review the skin at 4 weeks after the recommended course has finished. This time frame allows us to see the new collagen deposition and to assess the success of the treatment. Before and after photo’s are then compared and results discussed. It is at this stage a skin care and treatment maintenance program will be discussed with you.

After your results have been achieved with ULTRAFORMER III, treatments can be performed during the year to maintain the benefits.

A single treatment may last than 15-60 minutes. The hand piece is passed over the area, focus lines of ultrasound are delivered. A stinging sensation along with heat will be felt. Low amounts of Micro- Focused Ultrasound (highly focus heat energy) are delivered into precise skin depths without damaging the skin.

• Most patients will experience a mild numbness, tingling, warming sensation that lasts 2 to 5 hours
• Patient may see some immediate contraction of skin
• Moderate redness with some swelling, immediately after and lasting up to 12 – 36 hours
• Skin may feel tender to the touch and will resolve in 1 week
